MEChistas* This past weekend we had our tamale sale (Sunday 10/2/11), which became another successful outcome.Thank You to all those who came out and participated. Remember it is important to participate and help out in these Tamale Sales because this is one of our ways of fundraising.The money goes into our scholarship. Therefore those who have shown dedication, worked, and set aside of their own time to help. Have a greater privileged for scholarships.   

Than on Saturday 10/1/11 @ CSUN was the last State Liaison Meeting, which was also very productive, informal, and successful outcome. There was a lot of work done, for State Wide. Which I'm sure everyone is excited for. CSUN still has work to get done, and if anyone is interested to help out. MEChA de CSUN has a meeting for preparation/planning of State Wide every Thursday @ 7pm. More Information will be given this Thursday General Body Meeting.

IMPORTANT UPDATE: after the State Liaison Meeting most of the LA County Central Chapters were present, and we took a vote on when to meet for our NEXT CENTRAL MEETING. The majority rule, and OFFICIALLY LA Central Meeting will take on OCTOBER 21 2011 @ UCLA Time: 5pm

Hello Mechistas! Hope everyone is doing GREAT(: Well as you may know if you came to Last Week Meeting. That was AWESOME because it was our first Meeting of the Semester, and it was great to see many New Faces. Hopefully we get to see you again for tomorrow’s meeting. Remember we always meet every THURSDAY 12:00pm-1:00pm @ Rm: C325. It is important to attend to tomorrows meeting because we will be planning for our POTLUCK(: talk about STATEWIDE (which will be @ CSUN this semester), and going over our events planned out for the semester.

Note To All: Please don’t feel discourage to speak out. If you have an idea, such as to have an event, fundraise and etc. Please let us know, but at the same time keep in mind to give a HEAD OF NOTICE because if we leave it all in the last minute, it will be a bit stressful. But I am sure we will manage to get it through(: anything is possible.
